Nina Gallagher is a Senior Tax Manager with Tompkins & Peters CPAs, P.C.  With more than 30 years of public accounting experience and tax preparation, Nina is known as an industry leader in the areas of federal, estate, and state income taxation.  Her in-depth knowledge allows her to provide a multitude of tax related services, such as preparation, compliance, and planning to business entities and high wealth individuals.

 

Nina is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where she sits on the Council, the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants (NVCPA) where she is currently the President and a member of the Board of Directors.  Nina is a past Chair of the Taxation Committee of the Nevada Society of CPAs, has been a previous lecturer and is the current Co-Chair of the Southwest Tax Conference Committee of the Nevada Society of CPAs, and has been a representative for the state of Nevada at the annual AICPA/IRS liaison meeting.  She has served as Secretary for the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council and is a recognized speaker having given presentations for various public groups, colleges and universities, the Nevada Society of CPAs and the AICPA on various tax related topics.

 

Nina graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Accounting degree from UMass Dartmouth and cum laude with a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1975 and is a practicing CPA licensed in Nevada (CPA#3530R).  She has also held CPA licensure in Massachusetts and Texas.
